Groundsure are pleased to announce the continued evolution and improvements to its portfolio of products and services for 2019. As part of in-depth research and detailed feedback from the conveyancing market and channel partners Groundsure have made the following changes and hope they meet expectations:

Groundsure Homebuyers
(was the Groundsure Homebuyers Plus)

We are upgrading the Groundsure Homebuyers report and discontinuing the Groundsure Homebuyers Plus. All the features included in the Homebuyers Plus will now be incorporated into the original Homebuyers report which has been designed in collaboration with Conveyancers. Groundsure’s Homebuyers report has now been enhanced and improved. Based on Land Registry polygons, with new features, improved layout and design and clearer navigation improving workflow for solicitors. The new Homebuyers reviews flood, contaminated land, ground stability and screens other environmental risks such as energy, transportation and planning to provide comprehensive environmental checks for a residential property.

Improvements include:
-        Flood risk assessment now includes new JBA 5m groundwater data, in addition to all other flooding sources
-        Uses Land Registry polygons – providing a higher level of accuracy
-        Improved format and workflow
-        Fewer pages (up to 70% less), reduced printing and postage costs
-        Includes only relevant data - no blank maps or excessive data
-        Clear and practical next steps and recommendations in plain English

The Homebuyers report will have a new RRP of £51.00 excl. VAT and customers will be getting all the benefits of a Homebuyers Plus but for £8.00 less!

Groundsure Energy and Transportation - Residential - Commercial
The launch of Avista transformed the residential search market and continues to grow in popularity. The next natural step was the development of a product range bringing further clarity to environmental searches, so Groundsure has developed a suite of reports including Energy and Transportation. The Avista quality standard of detail, look, layout & navigation is replicated in this new Energy and Transportation report which has resulted in improved design, navigation and quality of data creating a premium quality search. The Groundsure Energy and Transportation is a new risk report utilising data only available from Groundsure. The report includes a comprehensive search of existing or planned energy and transport infrastructure covering either residential or commercial property transactions. Intelligently filtered and giving key next steps, this report identifies major transport projects (HS2, Crossrail 1 and 2), as well as their safeguarding areas, compensation schemes and other relevant environmental data (noise and visual impacts), active and historic railways and tunnels, including underground systems (London Underground, DLR, Tyne and Wear Metro, Merseyrail and Glasgow Subway), existing and proposed energy generation or extraction sites (including solar, wind, oil and gas and fracking), power stations including nuclear and all energy projects registered with the Planning Inspectorate – not just the Yorkshire and Humber CCS Pipeline.

This report is replacing our existing transport & energy related products for both residential and commercial, these include Groundsure Energy, Groundsure HS2 and Energy, Groundsure HS2 and Crossrail and the Groundsure Underground.
